There were many eyebrows raised after Donald Trump hosted Kazakhstan's president on Tuesday in the White House. One of the reasons for hosting Nazarbayev was to show his support for nuclear nonproliferation. Since it abandoned its nuclear arsenal inherited by the Soviet Union, Kazakhstan has been a leader in nonproliferation. Post-Cold War US interest in Central Asia was restricted to Afghanistan.

Trump's South Asia strategy also needed Pakistan's departure. This is why the US demanded Kazakhstan as an alternative route to Afghanistan.

He also handled exports and imports of minerals, natural resources vehicles, food, and other businesses. Tevfik Arif pioneered all inclusive hotels, moved to Turkey in 1993. Bayrock Group was founded in New York City eight years later.
